Thomas Edison Sherington, Jr. age 71 of Fenwick passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at his home. He was born October 16, 1950 in Lakeview, Michigan, the son of Thomas Edison, Sr. and Mildred M. (Hale) Sherington. He loved fishing, camping, being outdoors, nature, tinkering in his shop, bonfires, his family, and his three, four-legged fuzzy family members. Thomas loved to work! Extruded Alluminum Corporation and the people who worked there were also just like family and home to him! Thomas is survived by his wife Julie; children Kathy Nance of Greenville, Kimberly Nze-Bekale of Big Rapids, Cynthia Johnson of VanLeer, Kentucky, Thomas Sherington of Paintsville, Kentucky, Bryan (Salena) Sherington of Winchester, Kentucky; Glenda (Jeremy) Jackson of Grand Blanc; Thomas Sherington of Swartz Creek; Amber (Jonathan) Day of Barryton; Brian Deal of Edmore and Amy (Mark) Miller of Flint; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Patricia Loveless of Edmore and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Sr., and Mildred, brother Robert Shultz, sisters Betty Noffkee and Joan Fountain and his father in law Jim Vaughn. Private family visitation was held.
