Sonja D. Coston

Sonja D. Coston age 72, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at Metron of Belding. She was born August 20, 1942 in Trout Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Syren & Della (McMeeken) Newberg. She attended the Shiloh Community Church. Sonja is survived by daughter Diane Coston of Belding; sons David & (Leanna) Coston of Belding, Duane & (Vicki) Coston of Anniston, Alabama, Thomas Coston of Phoenix, Arizona and Timothy & (Ashley) Coston of Greenville; grandchildren CeCe, Lynsey, Kayce, David, Danielle, Brianne, Christopher, Tanner, Ethan, Kate and Beth; 13 great grandsons; one great grand daughter on the way; sister in law Carol Newberg of Carson City and brother in law Richard DeWeese of Fenwick. She was preceded in death by her brothers Vernon L. Newberg on November 3, 1997, John “Jack” S. Newberg on May 31, 1999, William E. Newberg on December 7, 2005 and Ronald McMeeken on April 4, 2002, sisters Darlene Newberg as an infant and Bonnie L. DeWeese on October 13, 1997 and her sisters in law Shelby J. Newberg on January 19, 1988 and Helen L. Newberg on January 26, 1998. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial Services will be 11 Am Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Burial will take place later at Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. Memorial contributions can be made in Sonja’s name to the American Cancer Society.
