Sally Ann Coats

Sally Ann Coats age 84, of Greenville, passed away, October 17, 2019 at Metron of Greenville. She was born March 20, 1935 in Greenville, Michigan, the daughter of Robert & Leatha (Hummel) Heaton. She loved gardening and, in the summers, she would work in greenhouses selling plants and flowers. She enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques. She also was an animal lover, loving dogs and cats. Sally is survived by her sons Steven (Brenda) Kinyon, Daniel (Lois) Kinyon and Scott (Kathy) Kinyon all of Greenville; stepsons Ken (Linda) Coats of Grand Rapids, Kevin Coats of Wisconsin; stepdaughter Lisa (John) Linabury of St. Joseph; grandchildren Amber (Jason) Barnes, Blake (Kristin) Olsen, Matt (Christine) Olsen and Paul (Korynn) Olsen; several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Roger Coats, her parents and a brother Robert Heaton Jr. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Marshall Funeral Home in Greenville with visitation Monday from 6 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in Sally’s name to Metron of Greenville.
