Rose Josephine Reusser

Rose Josephine Reusser age 90, of Gowen, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at her home. She was born May 10, 1926 in Stearns, Kentucky, the daughter of Edward & Otha (Angel) Grundy. She grew up in Blue Diamond, Kentucky and along with her husband, they owned Reussers Cleaners in Grand Rapids. She is survived by her husband Glen. They were married on July 16, 1947. Also surviving are her children Patricia & (Gary) Everest, Sr. of Rockford, Peg & (Richard) Middlebrook of Trufant, Ed & (Judy) Reusser of DeWitt and Donna Reusser of Gowen; 14 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sisters in law Irene Reusser of Harrison, Elaine Grundy of Lake Odessa, Teresa Grundy of Lansing and Delores Ambs of Kalamazoo; brother in law Gary & (Liz) Reusser of Battle Creek and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter in law Robert & Beverly Reusser, siblings Ruth Wolschied, Freida Meese, Irene Marsh, Don, Jimmy, Johnny, Charles and Jack and by her in laws Fred & (Margaret) Reusser, James & (Doris) Reusser, Rodney Ambs, Dale Reusser and Crystal & (Robert) Ballard. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Betsy Kamphuis and Vicar Elizabeth Lippke officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Langston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested in Rose’s name to Alzheimers or Michigan Diabetes Asociation.
