Robert G. Reusser, Sr. age 68, of Gowen, passed away March 9, 2016 at his home. He was born September 6, 1948 in Greenville, Michigan the son of Glen & Josephine (Grundy) Reusser. He was a member of the Settlement Lutheran Church, enjoyed his motorhome and was a veteran of the Vietnam Era serving in the United States Air force. Robert is survived by his sons and daughter in law Rob & (Chalynn) Reusser of Farmington Hills and Jason Reusser of Kentucky; parents Glen & Rose Reusser of Gowen; stepchildren KendraSue & (John) Sysak of Coleman, Dawn & (Mike) Moomey of Vestaburg, William “Hank” & (Katy) Sower of Saute Ste. Marie and Lawrence & (Doriene) Nolf of Lakeview; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Edward & (Judy) Reusser of DeWitt and sisters Peggy & (Richard) Middlebrook of Trufant, Pat & (Gary) Everest of Rockford and Donna Reusser of Gowen. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly on April 26, 2015. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating. Members of the family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday from 10 AM till the services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Langston, with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #101 Greenville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested in Robert’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project which is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001.
