Robert W. Jorgensen

Robert W. Jorgensen age 83, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his home under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice. He was born September 17, 1929 in Greenville, the son of Otto E. & Vera (Bidstrup) Jorgensen. Robert graduated from Greenville High School in 1948 and retired from Federal Mogul in 1998. He is survived by his children Kim & (Jeff) Martin of Greenville, Terry & (Gala) Jorgensen, William Jorgensen of Sheridan Steve & (Shannon) Jacobs of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Debra Helmes of Lowell, Mike & (Beth) Jacobs of Stanton and Sharon Swartz of Lowell, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Janet & (Arnold) Ditmar of Georgia; brother James & (Marie) Jorgensen of Belding; brothers in law Phil & Bud Jones of Ohio and Junior & (Karen) Jones of Grand Rapids and his sister in law Carol Miller of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen on March 21, 2103, son in law Robert Helmes, sister in law Jean. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives Friday, August 22, 2014 from NOON to 2 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Private family services will be held later. Memorial contributions in Robert's name can be made to the Spectrum Health Hospice
