Robert R. Cushion

Robert R. Cushion age 61, of Greenville, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at his home under hospice. He was born January 30, 1953 in Lansing, the son of Leon & Betty (Kolberg) Cushion. He loved to hunt, fish, play poker and was a former artist at CBS Outdoors in Billboard Advertising. Robert is survived by his wife Lezlie; daughters Toni Dhaseleer of Rockford and Candie & (David) Ritsema of Gowen; grandchildren Mason and Lucas Dhaseleer and Lauren Ritsema; brother and sister in law David & (Denise) Cushion of DeWitt; sister and brother in law Patricia & (Leroy) Chapin of The Villages, Florida; nieces, nephews; sister in law Jami Smith of Petoskey and his in laws Ellis & Noelle Clark of Solvang, California. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral & Committal Services will be 11 AM Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Joel Heron officiating. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in Robert's name to the American Cancer Society or the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital PORT (Pediatric Oncology Resource Team).
