Ray J. Herroon

Ray J. Herroon age 71 of Greenville passed away April 9, 2023 at his home under the care of Spectrum Hospice, surrounded by his family. Ray was born October 29, 1951 in Greenville, the son of Raymond and Viola Herroon. He worked at Tower Automotive, loved to go to car shows, work out in the yard, going to the Derby's and loved his family and grandkids.  He is survived by his wife Virginia (Nichols) Herroon; sons Joe Herroon and Billy Jo Herroon; daughters Virginia (Sissy) Herroon & (John Day), Raelynn Herroon & (Terry) and Ruth (Carlos) Rivera. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his children Donald, Brandy, Patty and Edward “Fast Eddie”. Cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life and Luncheon will be 3 PM June 10, 2023 at his home.  Memorial contributions can be made directly to the family to help with expenses.
