Prudence "Prudy" Bower Tower Leveillee was born in Greenville Michigan on September 10, 1948 to Susan F. Bower and Ray J. Tower II. She was the stepdaughter of Mary G Tower. Prudy graduated from Greenville High School in 1966 and earned a BFA in Music from Hope College in 1970. She taught Elementary Music in Fort Wayne, Indiana and in Boise, Idaho. She was a proud member of the First Congregational Church of Greenville, where she served as Children's Choir Director, Handbell Choir director, and Church Secretary. Prudy is survived by her husband Lawrence Leveillee of Vermont, and by her former husband, Steve Petersen. She is also survived by her five siblings: Ray J. "Cap" Tower III (Janet), Helen Shupe (Jeff), John Tower, Philip Tower (Diane), Maria Tower, and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her uncle, Evan Kokales (Sharon) of Kalamazoo, and her lifelong friend Cindi Sutphen. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home in Greenville. Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the First Congregational Church of Greenville with Claude Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greenville Area Community Foundation for either the Ray & Mary Tower Family Fund or to the LaTreille Caring for Animals Fund.
