Pamella B. Henry

Pamella B. Henry age 63, of Ionia, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her home with her family under the care of Sparrow Hospice. She was born November 1, 1950 in Ionia, the daughter of Herman H. & Gara A. (Caine) Zander. Pamella enjoyed flowers, reading, watching her granddaughters race go-carts, formerly worked at American Bumper and owned Pam’s Archery. She also was a member of the Michigan Bow Hunters, Michigan Long Bow Association, Michigan Traditional Bow Hunters and Compton Traditional Bow Hunters. She is survived by her husband Terry, Sr.; children Nicole & (Tim) Bailey of Stanton, Kim King and Tammy Henry of Lyons, Barbara & (Rick) Dean of Valrico, Florida and Terry Jr. & (Kathy) Henry of Ionia; 8 grandchildren Tiffany Henry, Jimmy King, Nathan King, Ricky Dean, Michael Dean, Laurynn Henry, Taylor Henry and Chase Bailey; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Bruce & (Alice) Zander of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dave & (Melba) Zander of Johnson City, Tennessee and Jim Zander of Palo; sister in law Phyllis Luttrell of Sheridan and her best friend Lindy Wiles of Ionia. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman & Gara Zander and her step father Frank Wood. A celebration of her life will be from 1 to 4 PM Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Log Cabin Inn Banquet Center, 6484 W. Bluewater Highway, Muir officiated by Reverend Allen. Private Family burial will take place at Balcom Cemetery in Ionia by Reverend Allen. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Pamella’s name be made to St. Jude’s.
