Nancy L. Edwards

On April 6, 2021 at the age of 64, Nancy closed her eyes for the last time here on earth and passed away from death to eternal life. Nancy was born on March 24, 1957 in Sheridan, Michigan to Cleo Patterson and Bill Hailing. She was preceded in death with her brothers and sisters John, George, Carol Helen, Ann and Robert. Nancy s wisdom was always plentiful, her patience always enduring, her ability to Love and always see the good in people was undeniable. Nancy is survived by one brother Eugene Whittaker and three half siblings, Billy, Kelly & Ronnie Hailing. She is also survived by her children Serena Edwards & (Matthew) and Mandy Edwards, Jr. grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kristen, Bailey and Mandy III (Tre) and big boy Reilly; one great grandson Colt who she was able to meet and hold that was just born a month and a half ago. She also had too many nieces and nephews to count along with great nieces and great nephews. Nancy was an avid lover of nature. She loved to sit and watch hummingbirds and other birds fly around the many bird feeders in her yard. She also enjoyed cookouts with family and friends very much, watching music videos and having a couple of drinks. Nancy was baptized at the Greenville Community Church. She was a Christian woman who loved God and faith was very important to her. She valued her family, where family was very important to her. She loved to plant in her garden and decorate for the holidays. Nancy worked at Kalfacts Plastics for 25 years, then left and was employed at Listing Ear as a caretaker for 12 years, which was her passion in life. She loved caring for Lorna and Sandy and they became part of her family too. She was also known for her courteous and caring mannerisms. A true genuine and charismatic woman who constantly inspired others with her humble, helpful and giving nature. Nancy’s memorial service will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday April 24, 2021 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, followed by a luncheon at the Sheridan VFW, 209 W. Washington Street in Sheridan. She will be deeply missed by all.
