Michael E. Magoon

Michael E. Magoon age 60, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He was born January 4, 1956 in Grand Rapids, the son of Theodore & Faye (Loree) Magoon. He was retired from Metzgar Conveyors of Walker, was a member of the VFW of Greenville, was loved by all, never had a bad word about anyone and had a heart of gold. Michael is survived by his wife Lee Anne; children Ericka & (Jim) Bristol of Kent City and Brandon Snay of Wyoming, Michigan; grandchildren Jewel and Lillian; sisters Wendy Andrews and Deb Nichols both of Sand Lake; brothers Pat Magoon of Howard City, Bob and Keith Magoon of Grand Rapids; also aunts, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Shawn Meeuwes. Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Friday, November 11, 2016. Funeral & Committal Services will be 11 AM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Marshall Funeral Home, with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Burial will take place later in Cedar Springs Cemetery.
