Matthew Wayne Reed

b. October 20, 1985

Matthew Wayne Reed age 30, lived in McBride. After not hearing from her son, his mother and stepdad Sunshine & Joshua Cowling arrived at his home to find that he had passed away which had caused many of her Grand Rapids Press route customers to complain and wonder why they hadn’t received their paper. He was a most important son, stepson, beloved brother, uncle grandson cousin and friend. We will all miss you Matthew, you truly left this world too soon, but you get to live forever now in Heaven and we will see you again someday. We love you Matthew Wayne Reed while our lives will never be the same…, but by faith we press on believing in God’s love, truth, mercy and goodness one day at a time. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28). Be still and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). He was born October 20, 1985 in Carson City, Michigan, was a member of the Sheridan Bible Chapel, was a McBride Trustee, loved the outdoors hunting, fishing and four wheeling, was a cook, worked in food service, construction and many other general labor jobs. Matthew is survived by his father Samuel J. Reed of Sheridan, mother and step dad Sunshine & (Joshua) Cowling of Belding; grandparents Wayne & (Phyllis) Beard of Sheridan, Robert Reed of Carson City and Margaret Reed of Sidney; brothers Buddy & (Roberta) Reed of Entrican, Willie & (Brenda) Reed of Cedar Springs and Andrew & (Stephanie) Reed of Stanton; nephews and niece Tyler, Noah, Parker, Lucas and Kayleigh Reed and also survived by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
