Mary Jane Faussett, age 63, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her home in the loving hands of her family with hospice present. Jane was born on June 13, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Lawrence F. & Rita M. (Schneider) Carrow. She graduated from the University of Michigan, was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church, and a Master Gardener. Jane was a dedicated spouse, mother, teacher, volunteer and mentor. She also enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, baking, reading, and was a strong believer of continuing education. Most of all she enjoyed laughing and learning with her grandchildren and family. Jane married her husband of 42 years, Thomas J. Faussett on July 16, 1972 at Faussett Lake in Howell, Michigan. Jane and Tom raised their family of four children in Greenville, Sierra & (Wilson) Padilla, Jennie Faussett, Holly & (Richard) Almond, and Thomas W. & (Rachael) Faussett. She was also a caring grandmother to six loving grandchildren and is survived by her two sisters and two brothers. A Catholic Memorial will take place at 11:00 AM Friday, August 22, 2014 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Greenville celebrated by Fr. Michael F. Cilibraise. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 10:00 AM until the service begins. A luncheon will be held after the service. Private family burial will be held at the Eureka Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Jane's name to Spectrum Health Hospice, the Montcalm Area Master Gardener Association for a one time scholarship for next year, or the St. Charles Catholic School Educational Trust Fund.
