Marvin H. Getts

Marvin H. Getts age 63, of Stanton, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born February 19, 1954 in Sheridan, the son of Arthur L. & Alice E. (Lanning) Getts. He loved to bake, loved his dogs and was a former employee of Electrolux. Marvin is survived by his wife Sandra; daughter Kerry & (Aaron) Francis of St. Johns; granddaughter Brylee Francis; brother Darwin & (Roseann) Getts of Vicksburg; sister Pamela & (Dennis) Soule of Sheridan; brothers in law Mike & (Kathy) Harnack of Vestaburg, Chris Harnack and Tom Harnack of Stanton; sister in law Sherry & (Dave) Smith of Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur & Alice Getts and his father and mother in law Mike, Sr. & Flo Harnack. Memorial services will be February 9th, 2018 at Sidney Township Hall, 3019 S. Grow Rd, Sidney MI. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM with Eulogy by Dan Suprise at 7 PM and dinner to follow.
