Louise A. (Theile) Hickey

Louise A. (Theile) Hickey age 85 of Greenville, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at home with her daughters at her side. She was born July 19, 1935 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Frank & Mildred (Lieg) Theile. Louise was a 1953 graduate of Catholic Central High School, attended Mercy School of Nursing in Detroit, and worked as an RN. A dedicated Navy wife, Louise had many adventures traveling coast to coast while raising her growing family. Louise enjoyed reading, casinos, road trips, spending time with her grandchildren, and attending their activities. She also enjoyed outings with “the girls”, her lifetime friends. Louise believed in living her life to the fullest and never passing up an opportunity to experience new things. Louise is survived by her five daughters, Jeanne (Paul) Wozniak of Oro Valley, Arizona; Cynthia Hickey of Port Charlotte, Florida; Cheryl Hickey of St. Johns; Margaret Hickey and Denise (Jay) Linton of Greenville; 5 grandchildren, Leah and Ryan Grof, Max Wozniak, Dylan and Devin Linton; 2 great grandchildren, Aubree and Maya Chan; sister Mary Cook of Rockford; and her brother Jim Theile of Plymouth, Michigan. Louise was preceded in death by Donald, her husband of 60 years, and siblings John Theile and Margaret Reynolds. Private family interment will take place at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, and a celebration of her life will be planned for a later date.
