Lori Sabin, aged 80, died on October 21, 2016 with family by her side. Lori was born May 24, 1936, in Muir, Michigan, the daughter of Leroy and Mildred Walters. Lori was a hard worker all her life. In 1970 she bought an old farm house in desperate need of repair near Cedar Springs. She completely restored it into a beautiful home in which to raise her family and a few years later started an adult foster care home. She had thirteen residents that she loved and cared for until 1980 when she sold the home and bought Turk Lake Store north of Greenville. She sold the store in 1983 and became a Realtor and sold for Westdale Better Homes and Gardens for several years. Lori loved to work and eventually become a store manager working for Jorgensen Super Market, Save a Lot, and finally Rite Aid until her retirement. Lori loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Anytime an old song would be playing she would be singing along with it. She was very artistic and love to do paper toile, which is an art form that involves layering of parts of images to create a 3d image. She greatly enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Lori was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Joshua Lee Sabin and Bradley James Sabin-Wernette. Lori is survived by her nine children, Ralph (Karen) Burgenmeyer, Charles Burgenmeyer, Al (Celeste) Burgenmeyer, Lloyd Burgenmeyer, Mike Burgenmeyer, Vicki (David) Bliss, Millie (Timothy) Finch, John (Shelly) Sabin, Loretta Sabin, and 21 grandchildren, Sara (John) Kuberski, Rebecca Burgenmeyer, Joshua Burgenmeyer, Jenna Burgenmeyer, Nate Burgenmeyer, Michael Burgenmeyer Jr., Jonathan Burgenmeyer, Allison Bliss, Megan Bliss, Adam Bliss, Christopher Finch, Elizabeth Finch, John Sabin Jr., Derek Sabin, Alec Sabin, Kayti Bradow, Tyler Ford, Kirstin Ford, Trey Cook, Kaiden Cook, Lily Sabin and 2 great-grandchildren, Devin Wernette and Kennedy Wernette.
