Lita DeDuque Kurnat age 73, of Greenville passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born December 15, 1946 in Del Gallego Camarines Sur Philippines, the daughter of Benjamin Saraba & Rosa Javelosa (Natano) DeDuque. She studied Elementary Education at Aquinas University of Legazpi in the Philippines, taught eight years in the Philippines, five years in Nigeria and 5 years at the Little Red School House in Hollywood, California. Lita also worked at Kmart for 13 years and Walmart for 12 years. Lita is survived by her husband Jack Kurnat of 31 years; mother Rosa DeDuque of the Philippines; sisters Corazon Lara, Priscilla Torracba of the Philippines and Dr. Vangie DeLeon of Australia; brothers Manny DeDuque and Ganny DeDuque; brother in law Lewis (Cathy) Kurnat of Grand Rapids and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Benjamin Saraba DeDuque and her in laws Lewis and Virginia Kurnat. No services will be held at this time.
