Linda Lou Westbrook age 80, of Greenville, passed away on October 6 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born July 15, 1943, the daughter of Herbert J. & Sally I. (Artlip) Snyder. She attended the Cedar Springs and Rockford area schools. She was an avid reader and always had a book in her hands. She loved her sweets, bird watching and especially loved cardinals and hummingbirds. She adored her family and traveled to Las Vegas, Mackinac Island, New York, Canada, California and New Hampshire with them for family trips. Linda married the love of her life on February 4, 1961. Early in life she was very active, enjoying volleyball, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband Jim; children Jim E. Westbrook, Jr. of Greenville, Karla Westbrook of Greenville, Lee (Brent) Green of Brighton and Warren (Shelly) Westbrook of Cedar Springs; three grandchildren Cameron (Nicole) Green, Jace (Kaye) Green and Mason Westbrook; one great granddaughter Melody Green; two brothers Paul (Betty) Snyder of Morley and Pete (Brenda) Snyder of Howard City and by her two sisters Anita Snyder of Arkansas and Joy Swanson of Morley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Chris and Herbie. Private Family Funeral Services and Visitation was held. Burial was in Oakfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Linda’s name can be made to the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
