Leona L. Smith

Leona L. Smith age 67, of Coral, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 under the care of Spectrum Hospice. She was a fun loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a lot of love in her heart. She made an impact on everyone she met with her outrageous stories of her life and time at Rocko College. Everyone who interacted with her came away with great stories that will live on forever. She was born July 10, 1949 in Attica, Michigan, the daughter of Leo W. & Marguerite L. (Hunsinger) Carr. Leona is survived by her daughter Dottie & (Dean) Tomlinson-McLellen of Coral; son William & (Tracie) Tomlinson of Stanton; grandchildren Josh & (Mandy) Tomlinson, Mysti Tomlinson, Mary Bovee, Jaimee Bovee, Aaron Tomlinson, Leann and Andrew; great grandchildren Kiera, Jillian, Shyanne, Jazper and Alissa; stepchildren and their children Anna & (Charlie) Wilson, Wendy Simons, Henry & (Kristi) Smith, Tom Smith and Jeff Smith; sister Lucille Gembarski; brothers Burly & (Wanda) Carr and Leo Carr and also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends at Rocko College. She is preceded in death by her husbands Roger W. Tomlinson and Thomas L. Smith, siblings Clara Herring, Eleanor Bliss, Ruth Wagner, Eddie Moon and Frank Moon and by “Frankie”. Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Funeral Services at 4 PM, officiated by Pastor Joel Heron.
