Leo Dale Holcomb age 79, of Remus, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital in Lakeview. He was born July 13,1941 in Midland, the son of Clare & Carrie (Swinson) Holcomb. He loved fishing, woodworking, and enjoyed rodeos. Leo had a comedic personality and could always be counted on for a good belly laugh. Leo served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963, serving 18 months in Germany. He worked as a carpenter in Midland for various companies and from 1975 -2002 as a finish carpenter for K&J in Texas until retiring in 2002 when he relocated back to Michigan. Leo is survived by his children David (Audrey) Holcomb of Houston, Texas, Kelli Holcomb (and special friend Carl) of Sanford and Joseph (Andrea) Holcomb of Sanford; 8 grandchildren Heather, Chelsea, David, Christopher, Michael, Nicholas, Brooke and Blake; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Betty Carroll of Midland and Mona Keelan of St. Johns; brother Jim (Phyllis) Holcomb of Midland; sister in law Karen Holcomb of Midland and also by Darlene the mother of David, Kelli and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Ivan Holcomb, Clare Holcomb and Avis Hurley. There will be no visitation. Services will be held later.
