Kristen D. Brown

Kristen D. Brown age 49, of Portland, formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away of injuries from a snowmobile accident in the Upper Peninsula on February 1, 2018. He was born November 5, 1968 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Russell E. & Mary Jane (Keister) Brown, Sr. He was employed at Cargill in Lake Odessa. Kristen is survived by his wife Shirley, daughter Cherie Leone of Jeannette, Pennsylvania; son Kenneth & (Diane) Popovich of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Lauren, Alicia and Angela Popovich, Kendra Elk, Ronald Reed and Kyle Davis; sister Shirley & (Ray) Niehenke of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; brothers Russ & (Jeanie) Brown, Jr. of Acme, Pennsylvania and Randy & (Vicky) Brown of Crucible, Pennsylvania and by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell & Mary Jane Brown. A celebration of Kristen's life will be 11 AM, February 10, 2018 at 9285 Guinea Road, Grand Ledge, MI 48837 by Pastor Marilyn Danielson, with a luncheon to follow.
