Keith C. Foster

Keith Clyde Foster age 77 of Baldwin, formerly of Greenville passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Corewell Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born November 10, 1946 in Greenville, the son of Clyde E. & Frances M. (Strong) Foster. Keith was a kind, soft-spoken, gentle giant who protected those around him. He enjoyed spending time joking around with family and friends, cheating at cards, hunting, fishing, and driving the country roads looking for wildlife. Early in his 20-year stint with the Michigan National Guard, he earned the nickname ‘Bear’ which stuck with him for the rest of his life. Keith retired from Electrolux after 37 years of service. Keith was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Keith is survived by his wife Susan of 56 years; children Michael (Martha) Kerns of Greenville, Sharon (Dean) Mallory of Sheridan, Cary (Tonya) Foster of Saranac and Julie (David) Fenner of Ludington; seven grandchildren Taylor Owen, Elaine, Alden; John, Garrett and Maddox; two brothers Jim (Sally) Foster of Muskegon and Dick (Jane) Christensen of Cedar Springs; cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death parents, daughter Melissa Foster, sister Lois E,. Reaume and his brother Norman Christensen. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville with visitation from 10 AM till the service. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens.
