James B. Yakes

James B. Yakes 56 of Gowen passed away August 10, 2020 at Spectrum Health Hospital in Grand Rapids. James was born November 27, 1963 in Greenville, MI to Forest and Margaret (Skinner) Yakes. He was a 1983 graduate of Greenville High School. He is survived by his children Brian Yakes, Justin Cantrell, Jeffrey Cantrell and Derek Rood; sisters Pam (Larry) Kyser of Gowen; Joyce and Tracy; brother Alan (Cathrine) Tyler of Texas. He was preceeded in death by is brother Bob Yakes; sister Deb Yakes and his parents. Private family services will be held with a public celebration of his life at a later time.
