James D. Strachan

James D. Strachan age 85, of Greenville, passed away, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Mission Point in Belding, Michigan. He was born May 14, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of David F. & Margaret L. (Nelson) Strachan. He loved ice cream, the water, camping, singing songs with his wife Eddy, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Greenville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and loved to share Bible truths with everyone he met. He knew that the sad times we face are temporary and he wanted everyone to know the hope that God gives us from the Bible. James is survived by his five children; Mike (Paula) Strachan of Greenville, Dan (Denise) Strachan of Leroy, Debie (Mike) Wilkie of Greenville, Mark (Amber) Strachan of Greenville and Jim L. Strachan of Greenville, eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers Richard Strachan of Sebring, Florida and Douglas Cooke of Grand Rapids and his sister Judy A. Donet of Westland, Michigan. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Eddy W. Strachan on October 4, 2021; two brothers in law and 4 sisters in law, and his sister.
