Henry James Molter (Jr)., age 87, formerly of Greenville, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Vista of Howell Assistant Living Facility in Howell. He was born October 10, 1927 in Kentland, Indiana, the son of Henry Sr. & Irene (Brewer) Molter. Henry was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Greenville, member of American Legion, served in the US Army during World War II, was a volunteer at Friendship House, was bookkeeper for the former Vito’s Buick & Olds dealer in downtown Greenville. He loved to buy & sell used cars, go for morning walks and ride is bicycle, and watch car races on TV. He is survived by his children Paul Molter & (Geraldine Crick) of Greenwood, Indiana, Jeff & (Chrissy) Molter of Wake Forest, North Carolina; Andy & (Mary Lu) Molter of Fowlerville, Philip & (Cindy) Molter of Georgetown, Texas, Nancy Butler of Greenville and Greg Molter of Belding; 21 grandchildren Mark, Matthew, Michelle, Jared, Adam, Rose, Maria, Joseph, Henry Lee, Grace, Jennifer, Samuel, Andrew, John, Amber, Kasandra, Jessica, Krystle, Jason, Jody and Samantha; many great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janice R. Molter on April 12, 2011, sister Marge in 2005. Catholic Mass will be 11 AM Thursday, July 30, 2015 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Greenville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM followed by a Rosary, Wednesday at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville and on Thursday at St Charles Church, visitation at 10 AM, Mass 11 AM. Memorial contributions can be made in Henry's name to St. Charles School. A luncheon will immediately follow the mass at St. Charles Catholic School. Burial will take place later at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. There will be a mass offered for Henry James Molter, (Jr) at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fowlerville, Mi., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 6:30 PM.
