Gerry C. Johnson

Gerry C. Johnson age 63, of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Grand Rapids Metro Hospital. He was born December 2, 1951 in Grand Rapids, the son of John W. & LaRita M. (VanWyck) Shook. Gerry is survived by his daughter and son in law Amanda & (Robert) Sturm of Mason; grandson Robert Sturm, III of Mason; brothers and sisters in law Ken & (Mishelle) of Wyoming, Michigan, Dewey Johnson of Denver, Colorado, David & (Jane) Johnson of Kentwood and John Shook, Jr. of Grand Rapids; sister Virginia & (James) Callon of Newaygo and by his many nieces and nephews. Gerry is preceded in death by Julie Jones, LaRita and Walter Johnson & John Shook, Sr. Memorial contributions can be made in Gerry’s name to the American Heart Association or the Future Farmers of America. A Celebration of Gerry's life will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 at South United Methodist Church 4500 S. Division, Kentwood from 3-5 PM.
