Geraldine Elizabeth Snook age 76, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born March 13, 1942 in Leighton Twp., Allegan County, the daughter of Robert W. & Lillian L. (Smith) Wilson. Geraldine loved life, family, friends and most of all her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is now dancing on streets of gold, she also loved to knit, crochet, fish, dance, was outgoing and loved to joke. She was a member of the Greenville New Testament Church, and also attended church while she resided at Metron for 8 years and spent time babysitting her nieces and nephew in their younger years. Geraldine is survived by her sister Judy Schafer of Greenville; nieces and nephew LaVonne (Kent) Hayne, Gay Ann (Jerry) Harris, Jack Allen Schafer, Jeanine (Dennis) Dassinger, Colleen (Mike) O’Herron, Marquitta (Leo) Stubblefield all of Greenville, Yevonne “Jo” (James) Cubitt, Jeanette (Randy) King and Bobbie (James) Palmer, aunt Doris Smead of West Olive; uncle David Smith of Grand Rapids; sister in law Shirley Wilson of Hesperia and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Lillian Wilson, niece Velinda “Sam” Brown and her brothers Cody Dunn and Richard Wilson. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Marshall Funeral Home, with Pastor John Paepke officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM till the service on Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at Greenville New Testament Church, corner of 10 Mile Rd and Ashley Rd. Burial will be in Blaine Cemetery in Byron Center.
