George R. Wotring

George R. Wotring age 68, of Carson City, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his home under the care of Great Lakes Caring Hospice. He was born March 13, 1951 in Adrian, the son of George & Joyce (Daniels) Wotring. He had formerly worked at General Tire in Ionia, loved hunting, fishing, and anything to do with family. He was an all around great man and will be greatly missed. George is survived by his children Becky Lewis of Tennessee, Charles Culbertson of New Mexico, Joseph Wotring of Sheridan, Timothy Wotring of Sheridan, Lisa Wotring of Greenville and Samantha Wotring of Greenville; step children William Polensky and Lenny (Jolene) Avery; grandchildren David Christian, Audrionna Christian, Lillian Baker and six others; step grandchildren Madison Polensky, Nora, Emma, Lenny III and Kyler Avery; brothers Leo (Nikki) Elwood and Wilson Elwood and his sisters Cheryl (Butch) Brown, Deanna (Paul) Berrier, Dorinda Slavey and Jackie (Paul) Wotring. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leonard Elwood. Memorial Services will be 5 PM Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 4 PM till the service.
