Gaylord Flegel “Mark” Shepard

Gaylord Flegel “Mark” Shepard age 73, of Adrian, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at The VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He was born February 3, 1943 in Lansing, the son of Ernest L. & Maybelle (Flegel) Shepard. He was a graduate of Lansing Sexton, served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was a radio broadcaster. Mark is survived by his children Denise & (Tony) Del Gianni of Snohomish, Washington, Wendy Shepard of Ft. Worth, Texas and Robert Shepard & (Sally) of Leslie; 4 grandchildren Miranda and Jayden Shepard and Joey & Elena Del Gianni; brother Lyn & (Hanni) Shepard of Switzerland; 3 nieces Cheryl, Linda and Michelle and his Godmother and best friend Diane Studzinski of Allen Park. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the St. John Church & Student Center in East Lansing, with visitation from 10 AM till the service. Burial will be 2:30 PM Tuesday at Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville with Full Military Honors by the American Legion Post #101, Greenville. Memorial contributions can be made in Marks name to the American Diabetes Association.
