Evelyn M. Wessely

Evelyn M. Wessely age 83, formerly of Grand Rapids and Irons, Michigan passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Hathaway Hills Assisted Living in Greenville on January 10, 2025. She was born September 1, 1941 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Thurlo R. & Josephine (Crowley) Keller. She loved her church, people, crocheting, singing, dancing and spend time with family and friends. She retired from the telephone company after 30 years and relocated to Irons, MI before moving to Belding. Evelyn is survived by her children Robin (Bob) Hart, Dennis (Traci) Wessely and Aerin (Bill) Dennis; bonus children Joseph and Eric Keller, Tracy Marciniak and Margie Bennett; twelve grandchildren Heather, Ryan, Shawnna, Ashley, Christopher, Michael, Nickole, Shawn, Dylan, Victoria, Elizabeth and Veronica; several great grandchildren and her beloved dog Bullet. Also survived by her siblings Agnes (Penny) and Phyllis. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 years Raymond, Jr. and her siblings Grace, Edward, Clara, Jerome, Beatrice (Toni), Kenneth, Patricia, Robert, Daniel and Michael. Visitation will be at Marshall Funeral Home in Greenville, MI, Monday, January 13, 2025 from 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be 10 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Greenville, with visitation starting at 9 AM at the church. Burial will be in Rosedale Memorial Park in Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Evelyn to St. Charles Catholic Church.
