Eugene Oscar Kroesing, Jr.

Eugene Oscar Kroesing, Jr. age 86, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 surrounded by family and Hospice of Michigan after a short illness. He was born in Hazel Park on March 7, 1938, the son of Florence May & Eugene Kroesing, Sr. Eugene worked many years at his own company Kroesing Home Improvement, served 4 years in the United States Air Force, enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the casino, camping and can hunting with all of the grandkids. Eugene also enjoyed watching John Wayne, listening to Johnny Cash and spending time with his family and friends. Eugene was preceded in death by his first wife Donna, sisters Mary Reed and Nancy (Ward) Huntley, son in law David Adams and granddaughter Brittany Kroesing. He is survived by his wife Laura Cotten; missed by his children LaDonna Adams of Greenville, Bob (Connie) Kroesing of Sheridan, Duane (Patty) Kroesing of Alaska, Jim (Cindy) Kroesing of Sheridan, Gary Kroesing of Sheridan and Debbie (Dan) Roger of Trufant; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Flo Cosby, Helen (Dick) Patterson; brothers Tom Kroesing and Skip (Trudy) Kroesing and many friends. Memorial contributions can be made directly to the family. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for all the care they gave Eugene.  Funeral Services will be Noon Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Visitation will be from 10 AM till Noon on Tuesday before the funeral.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Garden.
