Esther L. Nolf age 87 of Greenville, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her home. She was born December 1, 1929 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Manley T. & Etta L. (Bryde) Huckleberry. She was a member of the Gowen Bible Church, enjoyed crocheting, fishing, playing cards and canning with friends and family. Esther is survived by her husband Vic; daughter Bonnie Palmer of Cedar Springs; four step children April & (Stuart) Thorpe, Vickie Vanderlip & Archie and Dawn Young & Larry all of Greenville and Valerie & (Jim) Gruber of Gowen; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister Shirley Scharaswak of Sheridan; brother in law, Frances Brock of Gowen; sister in law Janice Huckleberry of Cedar Springs; daughter in law Kathy Palmer of Greenville and also by Joyce Enbody, Debbie Droste and Cecil Palmer that she raised as her children. She was preceded in death by her son Danny Palmer, sisters Iva Enbody and Artha Brock and her brothers Richard, Robert and Ronald Huckleberry and his brother in law Lawerence Enbody. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Marshall Funeral Home Greenville. Graveside Funeral Services will be 1 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at West Montcalm Cemetery (Wolverton Plains) with Pastor Zach Nyhuis officiating. Memorial contributions can be made in Esther’s name to the Gowen Bible Church. After the services at the cemetery a luncheon will be at the Gowen Bible Church.
