Elaine J. Ackley/Ward age 92, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Bishop Hills in Rockford. She was born June 14, 1931 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Orie & Hyacinth (Nelson) Nienhuis. Elaine is survived by her daughter Vicky L. (William) Brown of Arizonia; son Rick A. Ackley of Greenville; seven grandchildren Heather (James) Parker of Greenville, Zack (Karrie) Hillman of Traverse City, Pete Ackley of Grand Rapids, Jessica Ackley of Grand Rapids, Allyssa Angers of Lakeview, Elly Ackley of Greenville and Alex Arnold of Belding, many grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd Ackley, husband Gordon Ward, son Timothy Ackley and her brothers John and Alfred Nienhuis. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery.
