Earl G. Starling

Earl G. Starling age 74, of Greenville passed away at home Thursday, October 7, 2021, surrounded by family. He was born December 11, 1946 in Romeo, Florida, the son of Ralph B. & Lois T. (Crews) Starling. He loved to golf and visited countless courses in the state with his best pals. Earl is survived by his wife Marie, son Chad (Ana) Starling of Texas; step daughter Kate Read & (Joe Vance) of Ionia; step son Adam (Sue) Kerns of Greenville; 10 grandchildren Charles, Stephanie and Scott “Scooter” Mullinix, John Tyler and Lexi Read, Syerrah Vance, Kira Hamilton, Cade, Grayson and Leo Starling; 4 great grandchildren Madison, Lucy, Eli and Dennis; brother Mack (Latrelle) Starling of Florida and his sister Essalene (Rick) Fischer of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Scott Mullinix and his brother Arnold Starling. A memorial golf outing will be held in Earl's honor in the spring of 2022 with details to follow. Memorial contributions in Earl’s name are suggested to the Greenville Eagles Club #4321 or the Greenville Moose Lodge.
