Dora J. Christensen

Dora J. Christensen age 89, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 21015 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born May 30, 1925 the daughter of Clayton & Mae Greenhoe. On April 10, 1943 she married John J. Christensen. Dora is survived by her sons and daughters in law DeWayne (Grace) Christensen and Ronnie & (Maria) Christensen both of Greenville; 7 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; daughter in law Sharon Christensen of Greenville; sisters in law Kay & (Art) Baker of Zeeland and Pat Christensen of Belding brother in law Jerry Christensen of Tampa, Florida. She will also be missed by her neighbor Ray, friends Mark & Brenda and Randy & Babette. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John J. Christensen on January 18, 2014, son Roger Christensen, grandson Zach Steffes, sisters Jean Howes and Fritz Crews and her brothers in law Carl & Alfred Christensen. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Graveside Services will be held in the spring at Rest Haven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made in Dora’s name to the Flat River Community Library.
