Donald A. King age 74 of Stanton, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his home. He was born January 29, 1945 in Vestaburg, the son of Russell & Doris (Miles) King. He was retired from Electrolux, loved to cook, go boating through the Martini Channels, and camping. Don loved to support the kids at 4-H fair by taking pictures. He loved to bargain shop and yard sale. Most of all, he loved his family and his pets. Donald is survived by his wife Terra of 56 years; children Bryon D. (Terri) King of Stanton, Kathy E. (Bob) Tawney of Kent City and Rodney W. (Kathleen) King of Stanton; nine grandchildren Jessie (Jon) Bailey of Edmore, Donnie (Hillary) King of Lakeview, Katie (Brad) Russ of Stanwood, Brandon (Allison) King of Sheridan, Darren (Allie) King of Edmore, Travis (Juliea) King of Crystal; Jared King of Stanton, Douglas (Elizabeth) Tawney of Casnovia and Elisha (Jacob) Wiebenga of Sparta; eighteen great grandchildren Mackenzie and Connor Bailey, Emily, Jase, Abby, Brooke, Ethan, Wayland and Mallory King, Noah Striker, Cody Molette, Hailey and Brooke Russ, Jordynn Cooper, Annaleigh and Douglas Tawney, Christian Winther, Colton Wiebenga and on more on the way; sister Sandy Evans and (Lem Tingley) and his brothers Dale (Erma) King, Jim (Shirley) King, Cliff King and Dean (Jessie) King. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings Lawrence, Ralph, Ronnie, Mildred and Mardine. There will be no visitation or funeral services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Donald's name to the Montcalm County 4-H Fair.
