Dennis M. Fallon

July 30, 1941 — October 30, 2017

Dennis M. Fallon entered into eternal life on October 30, 2017 after a long illness. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend with a quick wit and ready smile. Dennis was born in Aurora, IL on July 30, 1941 to Henry and Valette Fallon, and grew up in Fort Wayne, IN and Northville, MI. He was a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan Law School and spent his career with the JCPenney Company in the Detroit area, New York, at the Catalog Telemarketing Center in Grand Rapids and in Plano, Texas. Dennis was a huge fan of U of M football, the Detroit Tigers and Dallas Stars, and loved traveling. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 32 years, Joanne M. Fallon, son Eric M. Fallon, Ph.D. and wife Audrey Fallon Stephan, M.D. of San Diego, CA, grandsons Trent and Blake Fallon, stepsons Gregory Millering of Grand Rapids and Matthew Millering of Port Orchard, WA, sisters Sr. Elizabeth Fallon of Nazareth and Kathleen Fallon of Royal Oak, Joanne’s parents Maxine Scott of Comstock Park, Bill & Norma Scott and Joanne's uncle and aunt Leo & Lee Marshall of Greenville, her siblings, nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends. Dennis treasured his Catholic faith and appreciated the prayers and support of the Knights of Columbus and members of St. Paul the Apostle Parish. Special thanks to the sisters and staff of St. Ann’s Home for their loving care over the past two years. A Memorial Mass was held for family and close friends of Dennis on Saturday, November 18, 2017. Memorial contributions to St. Ann’s Home, 2161 Leonard St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, or the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org, would be appreciated.
