Dawn Marie Drent age 81, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at home under the care of Spectrum Hospice and her family. She was born November 11, 1936 in Muskegon, the daughter of Russell & Dorothy (Mosher) Crevier. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Greenville Garden Club, member of the first graduating class at Muskegon Catholic Central in 1954, loved pottery, sewing, knitting and her flower garden. She was formerly employed at Bricker Lumber, Bennett Pumps in Muskegon and worked for the Titche family. Dawn is survived by her husband Donald; children Donald R. (Brandi) Drent of Holt, David J. (Laurie) Drent of Clarksville, Diane L. (Steve) McQueen of Belding and Daniel P. Drent of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren Jeremy Drent, Calvin Drent, Erin (Alan) Young, Jasmine (Dan) Childs, Cory (Danielle) Drent, Michael McQueen and Jeffrey (Christine) Drent; nine great grandchildren Graham, Clare, Evan, Bentley, Cory J., Scarlet, Ashton, Georgia Faye and Jovie; sisters Diane (Edward) Turk of Shirley, Massachusetts and Denise (Galen) Bennett of Byron, Illinois; brother Russell Crevier of Grand Rapids; brother in law Ralph Fisher of Alger; several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws and her sister Deborah Fisher. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville and from 10 AM till the Mass on Monday at the church. Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Monday, October 29, 2018 at St. Charles Catholic Church, celebrated by Fr Mark Bauer. There will be a luncheon after the Mass before the burial that will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Parnell. Memorial contributions in Dawn’s name can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or the St. Charles Catholic School in Greenville.
