Christopher D. Halstead age 54, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his home. He was born November 10, 1962, the son of Jerry B. & Jarry L. (Roberts) Halstead. He was an avid outdoorsman, wood worker, loved to fish salmon and walleye, riding motorcycles, and was a former employee of Ariens a part of Outdoor Power Equipment. Christopher is survived by his wife Jana Halstead; son and daughter in law Christopher & (Melissa) Halstead of Howard City; daughter Callie Halstead of Grand Rapids; parents Jerry & Jarry Halstead of Evart; grandchildren Micah and Reagan Halstead of Howard City and Aiden Halstead of Grand Rapids; brother Michael Halstead of Fischers, Indiana; nephews Taylor, Alec and Kaleb Halstead of Fischers, Indiana; father in law Dale Nelson of Elk Horn, Iowa; step children Ryan Siedlik of Dallas, Texas, Lindsay Arambula of San Antonio, Texas and Brett Siedlik of Palmyra, Tennessee; step grandchildren Ashtin and Dustin Arambula of Greenville, Desiree Arambula and Francisco Muiz of San Antonio, Texas and Cole Seidlik of Beaver Dam, Kentucky and also by his brothers in law and sisters in law. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Greenville from 12 NOON until the Funeral at 2 PM, with Fr Jim Wyse officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Christopher’s name to the DeVos Children’s Hospital.
