Charles R. Semposki

Charles R. Semposki age 77, of Gowen, formerly of Grand Rapids passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Spectrum Health Rehab and Nursing – Kelsey Hospital in Lakeview. He was born August 25, 1942 in Grand Rapids, the son of Julian A. & Victoria M. (Staworek) Semposki. He was a member at St. Clara’s Catholic Church in Coral and attended St. Charles Catholic Church in Greenville. He and his wife Christeen married in 1976 and made their home on Lincoln Lake. They enjoyed their trips to Las Vegas and they frequented many of the casinos here in Michigan. Charles retired from the CSX railroad after over 40 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating on the lake he loved. He also served our country in the Vietnam War. Charles is survived by his wife Chris; daughter and son in law Stephanie (Leroy) Starks of Nashville; two grandchildren Justin (Johnna) Starks of Vermontville and Kory (Amanda) Starks of North Ridgeville, Ohio two great grandchildren Mason and Aubrey Starks and his brother George (Donna) Semposki of Cedar Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents Julian and Victoria Semposki. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives 3 to 4 PM Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial will take place later at Coral Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Charles’s name to the Boys Club of America.
