Charles E. Schroeder

Charles E. Schroeder age 87, of Stanton, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Maple Ridge Manor in Lowell under the care of Careline Hospice. He was born December 21, 1934 in Lansing, the son of Jarold & Eleanor (Hamilton) Schroeder. He is survived by his daughter Victoria Horne of Pompano Beach, Florida and son Ricky Schroeder of Adrian; 7 grandchildren Michael Horne of Lansing, Kelli Arends of Lansing, Jodi Menzies of Eaton Rapids, Heather Knapp of Fonthill, Ontario (Canada), Christopher Schroeder of New Haven, Indiana, Christina Vojtko of Cedar Springs and Kimberly Lopez of Miami, Florida; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Tim Schroeder, and sisters Jeri McMillan and Kay Adams; and his dear friend Marilyn Herman of Stanton. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara on April 30, 2013; daughter Veronica Shaffer on November 16, 2001 and brother Dan Schroeder. No Services will be held at this time. Burial will take place in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Charles’s name to Careline Hospice.
