Mrs. Betty Adams, 84, made her transition into heaven on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Spectrum Health United Hospital in Greenville, MI. A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Adams will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 with Pastor Terese Whitten presiding at Marshall Funeral Home, 420 West Grove Street, Greenville, MI 48838. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A burial service will follow the 1:00 p.m. service at Trufant Cemetery, 14141-14209 Stanton Rd, Trufant, MI 49347. Betty was born August 10, 1937 in Thompsonville, Michigan and retired from Electrolux in Greenville, MI. She is the daughter of Jess Embuel & Anna (Jones) Leatherman of Thompsonville, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter, May Margaret Laurencelle, her husband Ernest Adams, her son-in-law Clifford Branch Jr. and 9 siblings. Mrs. Adams is survived by Peggy Nowak of Greenville, Kimberly Laurencelle of Dearborn Heights, Barbara (Scott) Miller of Sidney, Karen Branch of Lake City, Ida Laurencelle of Trufant, Arthur Wesley Laurencelle of Bear Lake, William (Rebecca) Laurencelle of Crystal, Frank (Tammy) Blanchard of Trufant and Kris Blanchard of Greenville; 22 grandchildren; 20 great children; 4 great, great grandchildren and her sister and brother-in-law, Adeline and John Gilmore of Clarksville, MI.
