Anthony D. “Tony” Bilello

Anthony D. “Tony” Bilello age 55, of Greenville, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at his home under the care of Heartland Hospice, He was born January 5, 1959 in Greenville, the son of Marco & Eva (Sherwood) Bilello. He always had a sense of humor, would give you another perspective on doing something, a dedicated worker enjoying his customers when he worked at Petersen Oil & Propane in Greenville, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, was a Para Pro at Lincoln Heights, involved in Special Olympics, loved gardening and his grandkids, was director of the youth at St. Paul Lutheran Church and had a passion for being involved with the youth in guiding and developing their faith in God. Tony is survived by his wife Kris; children Anna Berends of Greenville and Katelyn & (Heath) Griffes of Greenville; grandson Lucas Berends; granddaughter Ella Griffes; parents Marco & Eva Bilello of Lakeview; brothers and sisters in law Mike & (Marilyn) Bilello of Freeport and Thomas & (Myla) Bilello of Lakeview; brother in law Richard & (Tami) Hall of Spring Lake; sister in law Kathy Sherd of Greenville; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and by Josh Berends of Zeeland, the father of Lucas Berends. He was preceded in death by his brother in law David Sherd and his in laws Kathleen & Charles Hall. Memorial Services will be 11 AM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with Pastor Betsy Kamphuis and Pastor Jim Foster officiating. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 3 to 5 PM and from 6:30 to 8 PM Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Private burial will take place later. Memorial contributions can be made in Tony’s name to the St. Paul Lutheran Youth and Family Ministries. Arrangements are by the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville.
