Alvin E. Adair

Alvin E. Adair age 88, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Metron of Greenville. He was born August 1, 1929 in Belding, the son of Max & Mildred (Krouse) Adair. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church and was retired from Gibsons. Alvin is survived by his children Madelene Snyder of Greenville, Joseph & (Luci) Adair of Florida, Michael & (Teresa) Adair of Greenville, Brian & (Deb) Adair of Greenville and Lyle & (Camilla) Adair of California; grandchildren Deborah & (Deeter) Sloan of McBride, Kimberly & (Tom) Hirschy of Belding, Patricia Rush of Greenville, Andrea Partridge of Greenville, Krista Gadow of Florida, Travis Adair of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Colton Adair of Florida, Mickala Adair of Jennings, Angela & (John) Wolven of Greenville, Sarah & (Ryan) Kent of Greenville, Ginny & (Jerry) Walker of California, Tonya Adair of California, Kenneth Sunberg of Arizona, Dorothy Way of Texas and Alexander Callohan of California; sister Mary Lindsley of Ionia; brothers Jerry Adair of Florida and Kenny & (Esther) Adair of Ionia; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Adair, parents Max & Mildred Adair, brothers Raymond, Clayton and Bob Adair, sisters Bonnie and Shirley Adair, mother in law and father in law Harold & Donna Hatch, brother in law Don Hatch and his daughter in law Ann Adair. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Dixon officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at the church starting at 1 PM before the service. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery. When making a memorial contribution in Alvin’s name, the family suggests that you consider the needs of the family.
