Dar and Brenda....My thoughts are with you today as you prepare yourself to say goodbye to your mother....Know that I wanted to be there but because of the weather I was unable to make it ... I have some of the best memories of your mom when she was just married to Uncle Bob...I would like to share just one with you ...*My mom and dad decided to go to California to visit family and asked your Dad and Mom to watch us 4 kids..Your mom just being married was taking on a big job...Well the next day we were getting our T.B Shots at school and I fainted after getting mine , well your mom didn't really know what to do so she called Uncle Bobb at work and they came and got me at school....She sat with me till the Dr came to make sure I was ok and then she made me stay in bed the rest of the day and night...She gave me Chicken Noodle Soup and Ice Cream and pampered me all day and night...I have never forgotten how sweet and nice she was...I was only 8 years old and she! was 18....She treated me as a sister would and I loved her so much....I was sad when my mom and dad came back home...Would have loved to have her stay longer....My first babystitting job was babysitting you kids while Uncle Bob and Aunt Caroline went to the Races....So there art alot of memories ..I wish I could share them all.....Please know I am there with love.....Loretta Shelden Brodock....
