
Curtis P. Brayton age 54, of Gowen, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at his home. He was born January 13, 1958 in Greenville, the son of Donald D. & Marilyn J. (Ehlert) Brayton. Curtis worked for Wolverine Worldwide for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Ella J.; son Michael Brayton & (Vina Rivard) of Greenville daughter Jennifer & (Kyle) Jones of Gowen; granddaughter Krysta Jones; sister Deb & (Alan) Charter of Manistee and his brother Clark & (Juliet) Brayton of Ann Arbor. He was preceded in death by his father Donald D. in 2002, his mother Marilyn J. in 2010 and his son Christopher Brayton in 1997. According to his wishes there will be no visitation or services. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Curtis’s name to help with expenses.

Curtis was always the gentleman in my Humanities class at Montcalm Community College, and a hard worker. I am so sad to hear that he is gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
